The situation of the Cuban missile crisis could have gone worsor and turn into a nuclear war. But the empathy between Krushchev and Kennedy saved the possible existence of the nuclear war. Through the messaging between Krushchev and Kennedy, the two leaders slowly understands each other's concerns and worries; and eventualy realized that both sides meant no harm.

The movie (the curious case of Benjamin Button) Character Benjamin's head is actually completely digital, purpose is because an age 45 actor Brad Pitt is acting this character, so no matter how much makeup he puts on, it's still hard to make him look like an old man.
The people who are producing the movie made a few hypothesis, they thought taking a challenge of making a digital head is better then putting on makeups on for Brad Pitt, and they decided to take the challenge of the digital head.
The way of making the digital head, they used a technology called "contuor" They needed a paint that is for contuor put on Brad Pitt's face and they will see the 3D head in the computer. That is the material they needed
they went through many steps during their procedure, they had took many shots during the movie, it was really difficult to combine a completely digital head of Brad Pitt on some other actor's body.
The movie crew observed that the technology contuor is better then the older technology for making 3D head which only had 100 polygons, and makeup.
They had tested and went through their observations for makeup, older technology for 3D head, and contuor, and their analysis was that contuor seemed to be the best solution out of all, since it has the best performence.

Paul Baumer character analysis

He is a young 19 years old German boy who enlisted the army with is friends in school. He is a really kind person, he cares about his friends a lot, and he also knows them really well. Before the war, when he was a young student, he used to write poetry. He and his friends were being trained by a man called Himmelstoss, Paul and his friends really hated him for his strict and ridiculous discipline.

-- What did we do for SMASH Day? We had to make a periscope out of certain amount of utensils, and use that periscope to look for what is inside the box on the table, and your head and hands has to stay below the table.
-- What was your mission?
To look for the 7 things in the box on the table.
-- What supplies were you given?
Approximately 40cm*30cm cardboard, 50cm of tape, 4 7cm*7cm mirrors, and about 5 pieces of papers.
2. Reflect -- Scientists often make a hypothesis, test it, and then change (or modify) their design to make it work. -- How many times did you have to modify your design? One time.
-- How did you know that you should modify your design?
We tested it during the practice time, and we discovered it it wasn't long enough.
-- How did you know what to do when you modified it?
Because based on our result from testing it out, we knew that it has to be a little longer.
-- How did your team communicate to decide how to modify your design?
We throw out our ideas, and through discussion, we pick the best one.

-Make sure to stable the mirrors really well, so it won't get too loose and change the angle of reflection.
